KievAgriHort 2010 one of the biggest agricultural exhibitions in Ukraine

On 2 February, KievAgriHort 2010, one of the biggest agricultural exhibitions in Ukraine, begins in Kiev. Over 130 companies from 17 countries will take part in the exhibition.

Yury Melnik, Ukrainian Minister of Agrarian Policy, congratulated the organisers, exhibitors and visitors on the opening of KievAgriHort 2010. “During my tenure, the exhibition has become one of the most prominent agricultural events in Ukraine. Each year, KievAgriHort brings together the leading players in the agricultural products market from Europe and the CIS, and helps guide them in the trends and areas of future activity,” said Mr. Melnik.

He also expressed his hope that KievAgriHort 2010 would help speed up the implementation of innovative processes in the agricultural sector of the Ukrainian economy; strengthen international cooperation; attract foreign investment in the domestic agro-industry; and facilitate sharing of the latest agricultural experience, and modernisation of the agricultural industry.
