A new season has begun in the Ukrainian sugar market. According to the Ministry of Agricultural Policy, by 1 September, Ukraine still had considerable reserves amounting to 900,000 tones of sugar.

As Julia Timoshenko, the Prime-Minister of Ukraine, announced at the press-conference, «TheUkrainian government allowed the Agrarian fund to export corn».

This year Ukrainian agrarians got the record crop in size of over 45-48 million tones.
